Two
times World Ice Speed Champion
I have interviewed the
British Bull Dog two times World Ice Speed Champion Anthony Barlow before
but now in October I contacted Anthony and asked him how his preparations
were going for the forthcoming 2001 / 2002 World Championships to be held
in the U.S.A with the first race on Boxing day in Augusta Georgia.
I fly out to the states
on the 16th December all being well with the conflict explained
Anthony. This year I have worked on my physical fitness and my
mental approach and I have got a tough 5 months ahead of me and I want to
regain my World Title back. I think last year I was a little over
confidant so this time I have decided to make a few changes.
I going on the tour on
my own leaving my family at home so I can be a 150% focused on the job
ahead.
We have worked on the
bike a little and got it going a little quicker. So you can tell Southport
that I am up for it. Also my sponsorship deals went well and I would like
to thank them all for their help it is much appreciated.
So fingers crossed
Southport and lets hope we will have a triple World Champion in spring
next year I'll keep you posted on Anthony's progress and I wish him luck
in his bid to regain his World Championship. |
